What to Expect

From the moment you step into Priory Hall, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our terrific deacons/deaconess will direct you as you enter the church, they will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have.

What do I wear to church?
Most people dress up on Sabbaths (Saturdays) but others come wearing blue jeans. It does not matter to us what you wear. What matters is the fact you are there. At Battersea we want you to feel comfortable. It is our desire that anyone arriving at our church be greeted and made to feel welcomed.

What type of music do you sing?
Music is a powerful form of expression and it also can convey great emotions and feelings. Battersea SDA currently uses a blend of traditional hymns, often intermingled with choruses. We are blessed with dynamic Praise & Worship leaders, pianists, organists, drummers and guitarists. With our variety of instruments and singers, there’s something for everyone

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Colossians 3:16)

As you enter the main sanctuary, our ushers will welcome you and direct you to your seat. Then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the service.
